Unlike other pads that allow your rug to shift right on the pad, these have grooves that cling to the rug.

Your rug pad will be cut a few inches smaller than the size of your rugs to make sure it remains hidden. Rug pads are designed to protect the flooring underneath your rug and to prevent you from slipping, but they also absorb some of the pressure that is placed on your rug’s fibers when you walk.
